Grander Technology
in Swimming Pools

Some basic information

Grander Water Revitalization helps to stabilize pool water, thereby reducing the need for chemicals such as chlorine and flocculants etc.

The quality criteria

Swimming pools differ in their construction and operating parameters. As a result, each pool may require a different Grander solution.

Typically, an in-line Grander water revitalization unit will be installed in the fresh water supply pipe. We advise draining the pool down by at least 25 % and then replacing with fresh revitalized water. For optimum results the water should be replaced completely. However operational constraints (e.g. length of down-time) may restrict the amount of water replaced.

In addition to the in-line unit, an immersion device will typically be installed in the compensation tanks to ensure continual enhancement of the water through circulation.

The correct setting of the pH, the reduction of the chlorine content and a sufficient amount of fresh water are essential.

If the pool is open to the public, all statutory requirements must also be met. However, for private pools it is often possible to reduce chlorine to minimal levels without compromising the stability of the pool water.

There are several benefits for the pool operator:

While costs can be saved through the reduction of chlorine and other chemicals, a key benefit is the improved air quality (reduced smell of chlorine) leading to a more pleasant swimming experience.

The main benefits for pool users are:

      • the water feels softer on the skin
      • less eye irritation (red-eye)
      • less drying of the skin
      • bathers with sensitive skins suffer less from itching.

Costs can be reduced and the swimming experience can be improved by using Grander Technology in both public and private swimming pools.
