Grander steam 
The owners of the Brazilian textile company Blazer Brazil near São Paolo, which produces suits for men, found a solution to all their longstanding water related problems by installing Grander Technology.
They wanted to eliminate a number of difficulties to help improve the running of the business, and its bottom line. The automatic ironing machines, which need a continuous supply of steam, had to be replaced almost monthly. The steam irons suffered from continuous encrustation and corrosion. To keep the water in the storage tank clean, chemicals had to be added, but only two days later, the water was again discoloured and had lost its transparency. The poor water quality has meant that almost 100 automatic steam irons have had to be replaced over the past four years – an enormous strain on the budget in the long term.
At a textile equipment fair in Germany, the owner of the company bought a modern system of steam presses and automatic steam irons which were intended to form the core of production in future. To prevent this investment from damage experienced in the past, the owners also decided to install and test a Grander water revitalisation system.
One unit was installed in the owner´s home, and a second, larger one in the factory. One of the first things they noticed was that there was no water sediment in the bathroom. In the factory, one of the first aims was to reduce the chemicals in the tank. The addition of chemicals to the heating system was stopped, and the system has now been running for two years without any chemicals, but the water in the tank remains so clear that the bottom of the tank is now visible. In just this short time, practically all the usual maintenance costs were reduced considerably. For instance, the inner walls of the boilers no longer had to be cleaned and the water which drains out of the boilers at the end of each working day is now clear, confirming that there are no longer any residues in the boilers. A further important result was that no sign of corrosion was occurring on the flat of the irons.
Grander Technology has indisputably changed the water quality in the company, which has led to significant cost reduction. ‘I have made enormous savings in my maintenance costs.
