Private indoor pool - Friedrich Slama
(Vienna)
A happy pool owner

The name Slama is rich in tradition and indeed something like the epitome of quality in Vienna. In the minds of the Viennese the long-established department store on Mariahilfer Strasse in the 6th district is automatically associated with precious crockery, glassware and china.
Friedrich Slama of Vienna was one of the first to install Grander Technology in a private indoor swimming pool. The pool is now over 10 years old. We used all the standard pool chemicals up to 1995. Somehow it worked just fine. The big disadvantage, however, was that the iron pipes in the pool were prone to heavy rusting.
I have a system which generates a steady counter-current to swim against. The problem was that if you didn’t run it for two or three days and then turned it on, the water that came out was a rusty brown.
I was considering replacing the pipes, but Grander water changed all that. We didn’t have to do it. We still have the same iron pipes, but you can see for yourself. When you turn on the water now, it’s completely clear. The brown rust colour has gone. I’m an engineer, and it works. How it works, I can’t really say, but I’m convinced. I’ve seen it work for years now.
You feel more comfortable in the pool. There’s no smell, your eyes don’t burn the way they normally do when you have chlorine in the water. Your skin doesn’t itch. That’s all a thing of the past. All the tests we’ve run show the same thing: the water is perfect now with now chlorine.
