Market gardener José Gutierrez
(Spain)
The greenhouse test

The south of spain is known as “the garden of Europe”. The export of vegetables and fruits throughout Europe is a major source of income. The entire region is a sea of plastic sheeting which protects the delicate plants from the intense sun. Some of the most widely grown plants are peppers, tomatoes and different vegetables.
For many years, market gardener Jose Gutierrez had been looking for a natural way to increase his crop yield. He was one of the first in the region to experiment with Grander water revitalisation technology, using it to increase his harvest and resolve his technical problems with water. The greenhouses are watered using a computer-controlled system. Since the installation of the Grander units, crystal-clear water flows out of the garden‘s sprinklers. As no limescale is deposited, the nozzles remain clear so that all the plants receive precisely the amount of water they need for healthy growth. This strengthens the roots, which in turn increases the sugar content of the fruit. The plant leaves – also those close to the ground – are crisp, strong and deep green in colour.
