Kugelmann
(Germany)
A quantum leap

The Bavarian company of Kugelmann produces machinery designed for the cleaning of streets, paths and park areas. A lot of water is used in the manufacture of the metal parts, to remove the grease.
Before the factory switched to Grander Technology, ordinary water was used in the processing and preservatives were added to ensure resistance to bacteria and to keep the water fresh. The water had to be drained and replaced every three months because by then it could no longer be used and had a truly bad smell, not to mention a great number of coli bacteria.
As the company owner had already installed a Grander revitalisation unit in his own home, he decided to install one in the factory too.
After the installation, the following improvements were recorded in the multi-function washing unit. ‘We no longer have any bacteria in the water and it has only had to be replaced for the first time after seven months. The disposal costs have halved, we no longer need any preservatives or other chemical additives, which helps the environment. So we save power, water and chemicals thanks to Grander Technology.’
Josef Kugelmann is confident he has made the right decision, and also points out the economic savings. ‘Disposal of the waste water costs around 850 Euros. Before the installation, we had to dispose of the water four times a year whereas now we only change it twice a year, so I save half the original costs. I can only recommend the Grander Technology to every company faced with similar problems to ours.’
