Unadulterated nature in Finkenberg 
Zillertal in Tyrol is one of the most attractive regions of Austria. Holidaymakers can enjoy a superb holiday here no matter what the time of year. The Stock family has run a 150 bed hotel for 20 years in Finkenberg in the Zillertal Alps Nature Reserve. Barbara and Josef Stock (brother of the Olympic gold medalist Leonhard Stock) concentrate on the area of sports and wellbeing. They provide a guest-pampering programme that ranges from a swimming pool to sauna world, a beauty area with beauty, steam and herb baths.
It was the conviction that ‘wellbeing also depends on the right quality of water’ that convinced Josef Stock to install Grander Technology some 10 years ago. At first, he did not want to invest in a system for the whole house, but only to install a device for the pond in the garden, which was choking on algae.
When the pond water cleared within a very short time, Stock decided to install a Grander system for the hotel, including the swimming pool, in 1997.
‘Guests were suddenly very surprised and a little astonished that they no longer suffered from the red-eye effect after swimming,’ the hotel manager remembers. But it was not really a surprise – the amount of chemicals in the pool had been reduced by a third.
‘I am 100 percent convinced by the effect of Grander Technology. Revitalised water is available for drinking throughout the whole hotel and is used for all treatments, baths and saunas, which is very much appreciated by the guests. |
